On 11 December, Brilliant Indian International School hosted “The Legacy of the Desert – Qatar History & Islamic Heritage Exhibition”, a meaningful showcase highlighting Qatar’s rich culture, history, and Islamic heritage. The exhibition was inaugurated by the Advisory Director, Ms. Biby C. Mytheen, in the presence of the Principal, Mr. Abdul Azeez, Headmistress Ms. Minaz Dange and Academic Coordinator Ms. Mary Dalia.
A traditional Majlis beautifully reflected the spirit and traditions of the land, while a thoughtfully designed Kaaba model helped visitors gain a clear understanding of its significance in Islam. Students from Grades 1 to 6 participated with confidence and enthusiasm, sharing their knowledge of the Majlis, Islamic teachings, and age-old traditions. Their well-articulated explanations added depth to the exhibits and connected classroom learning with real-life cultural experiences.
The exhibition stood as a reflection of cultural awareness and pride, fostering understanding and respect among young learners.
