Brilliant Indian International School conducted a football tournament titled ‘Mini Amir Cup 2025’, modelled after the prestigious Amir Cup of Qatar. The event was held on 5th November 2025 as part of “My Values Shape My Identity”, an initiative by the Qatar Ministry of Education and Higher Education.
The tournament was inaugurated by Ms. Noora Al Kuwari from the Qatar Ministry of Education and Higher Education, in the presence of Principal Mr. Abdul Azeez, Headmistress Ms. Minaaz Dange, and Academic Coordinator Ms. Mary Dalia, whose encouragement inspired the students to perform their best.
The event was filled with excitement and sportsmanship as more than 100 students participated, representing four houses named after Qatar’s renowned football clubs — Al Sadd SC, Al Duhail SC, Al Arabi SC, and Al Gharafa FC.
The matches showcased the students’ teamwork, discipline, and passion for football. In a thrilling final between Aqua House and Ventus House, Ventus House emerged as the champion with a remarkable 4–0 victory.
Ms. Noora Al Kuwari awarded the trophy to the winners and appreciated the event coordinators and the school for organizing such a meaningful event. Principal Mr. Abdul Azeez extended special appreciation to Mr. Muhammed Dilshad, Physical Education Teacher and other teachers for their dedication and seamless coordination throughout the tournament.
The Mini Amir Cup 2025 truly celebrated sporting excellence, promoting the values of teamwork, unity, and physical fitness among students.
