Brilliant Indian School

“Expanding horizons, through the treasure chest of knowledge.”

‘Books give soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything.’

Brilliant Indian International school celebrated World Book Day on 25th April 2024 to foster the adoration of books and instill the love of reading. The students of Grade V organized a special assembly to celebrate the essence of literature and learning. The assembly commenced with Islamic prayer followed by the school prayer, an inspiring thought for the day and news headlines. The highlight of the day was the creative dance and ramp walk where students transformed into characters from their favorite books. This visual spectacle not only showcased their ability to express these personas creatively but brought literature to life in an engaging manner. The school librarian Ms. Arshi delivered a speech emphasizing the significance of reading books in shaping young minds. She also encouraged students to read books and share the joy of reading with family and friends. The vibrant anchor of the day was Pearl D ’Lima from Grade V. A reading competition for students from Grade I to VI was conducted.

Principal Ms. Asha Shiju appreciated the students of Grade V and the class teacher Ms. Athira. B for their effort. In her message, she shared the importance of reading in empowering ourselves to navigate life with confidence and for academic growth.
