Educate, empower: Breaking the cycle of child labour’s power.
 
BIIS organized a special assembly on 12th June 2024 as part of Anti Child Labour Day, raising awareness about child labour and advocating for the rights of children. The students of Grade 3B conducted the assembly, anchored by Ephesia Saiju. The assembly commenced with Islamic prayer followed by the school prayer and an inspiring thought for the day shared by Juwan. The news headlines were presented by Mohamed Mazin to make students aware of current happening in the world. A powerful speech on the significance of Anti Child Labour Day was delivered by Aswikan. He highlighted the challenges faced by children and emphasized the moral and social responsibility of society to ensure that every child has the opportunity to learn and grow in a safe environment.
 
A captivating dance performance by students of grade 3B creatively depicted the struggles of child labourers and the importance of education.
 
The school Principal addressed the assembly, appreciating the efforts of the students and teachers. She urged everyone to take a firm stand against child labour.
