“Celebrating the Nursing Spirit: A Profession That Heals, Cares, and Comforts”
International Nurses Day was celebrated at BIIS on 14th May with a special assembly by the students of Grade IV B, to honour the unwavering commitment of our healthcare heroes.
The assembly began with a serene Islamic prayer followed by the school prayer. Evan delivered a thought-provoking message, highlighting the importance of nurses in society. Niya V.S shone brightly as the anchor of the day, exuding confidence and charm. The students showcased their talent with a lively dance performance. Highlight of the assembly was a poignant skit by students, portraying the challenges faced by nurses. Our school nurse Ms. Anu shared an inspiring speech, emphasizing the value of empathy and care in nursing practice.
Principal Ms. Asha Shiju in her speech, expressed her gratitude to nurses for their tireless service and urged everyone to emulate their values of compassion and service. She also offered her warm appreciation to class teacher Ms. Greeshma, Dance teacher Ms. Shatadipa and the students for their effort.
