“CHAMPIONS OF CHANGE: THE STUDENT COUNCIL 2024-25 TAKES THE LEAD”
Congratulations to newly elected student council members of BIIS, for the academic year 2024-25!
The Investiture Ceremony held at BIIS on 9th May was brimming with enthusiasm as students received their badges and took on new responsibilities, embodying the school’s values of commitment, integrity, and service. The ceremony commenced with a spectacular house wise march past led by school Head boy, Head girl, Sports Captain and the Four House Captains showcasing their discipline and unity. The Chief Guest, Mr. Abraham Joseph, Secretary ICC graced the occasion and inspired the students to embrace their new responsibilities with dedication.
The program started with Islamic Prayer followed by the school prayer. The students from Grade III-VI performed a melodious welcome song and a graceful welcome dance. The elected leaders were conferred with their badges and sashes by the Chief guest, Principal and Admin officer. The student council took the oath of service leadership confidently with pride.
Principal Mrs. Asha Shiju lauded the students for their achievements and urged them to work together for the betterment of the school community with humility and a smile. She assured the council members of her support throughout their tenure. The program was confidently anchored by Kenda of Grade IV and Muhammed Zayan, the head boy of school. The vote of thanks was graciously delivered by Gowri, the head girl of the school followed by the rendition of Qatar National Anthem and Indian National Anthem.
