Honoring the love that shaped us all, Brilliant Indian International School conducted a special assembly on 13th May. The celebration commenced with a warm welcome from the principal to all the mothers present for the event. The special assembly was conducted confidently by students of Grade IV A under the leadership of Ms. Seena. The assembly began with Islamic prayer followed by school prayer, thought of the day and news reading. Amy delivered a speech highlighting the invaluable contribution of mothers towards society. Students presented a vibrant dance performance and skit showing their gratitude and love for all mothers. The programme was anchored by Aiyda.
An enthralling cultural fashion show competition featuring mother-son and mother-daughter duos captivated the audience. Mothers presented their talents in singing, short skits, and dance. The finale to the day was on spot games. The winners of the cultural competition were Ms. Rohini, mother of Aadhya and Aadith (First Place) followed by Ms. Veena, mother of Viya and Vihan and Ms. Shereen mother of Lara and Yousef (Second Place) and Ms. Anu, mother of Gavan and Ahona (Third Place). Consolation prizes were awarded to Ms. Mehzabeen, mother of Waseela, Ms. Revathy, mother of Dhruv and Neela and Ms. Samapti, mother of Dhiman.
Principal Ms. Asha Shiju in her heartfelt Mother’s Day special message, expressed her gratitude to all mothers and her words echoed the sentiments of the entire school community, acknowledging the selfless sacrifices and inspiring journey of mothers.
