BIIS students of Grade VI enthusiastically conducted a special assembly on 22nd April to celebrate World Earth Day.The assembly commenced with Islamic and school prayers, followed by a thought for the day by Izaan and news headlines presented by Ann Roshan and Emma Roshan. A powerful speech by Muhammed Zayan, accentuated the significance of Earth Day.Students collectively pledged their commitment to save Earth, led by Amr Saheb emphasizing the theme– Save life Save Earth. The highlight of the assembly was a captivating mime act performed by the students persuading all to contribute towards a sustainable future. The program was anchored confidently by Aysha Farha.
Principal Ms. Asha Shiju in her speech encouraged students to take action in their daily lives to preserve Planet Earth for future generations by practicing the 3 R’s. She appreciated the students and the class teacher of Grade VI, Ms. Athira Ashok.
