Brilliant Indian International School students and staff celebrated Qatar National Day with gratitude to the beautiful country. Special assembly that infused Qatari identity, values and culture was presented by students of Grade 3 to 5.
Kareem of Grade 5 spoke with pride about Qatar followed by news headlines by Sara & Amr of Grade 4 and thought of the day by Vaiga Vinu of Grade 3. The highlight of the day was the sword dance, locally known as Ardha. Students and staff were dressed in shades of maroon and white.
Principal Mrs. Asha Shiju in her message to students expressed gratitude to State of Qatar and Emir His Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani for giving all residents and people around the world the best moments of FIFA world cup 2022. She motivated students to believe in teamwork and quoted Emir’s Qatar National Day 2022 Slogan “Our Unity is the source of our Success”. The programme ended with Qatar National Anthem.
